The Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary (AMBS) is located in Elkhart, Indiana, in the north central part of the state. Situated on 34 acres of land, the seminary includes administration and classroom buildings as well as student housing. AMBS conducts programs which help the students to serve the church as pastors, missionaries, preachers, teachers, evangelists, and other leader positions. The seminary provides degree programs which are fully accredited by the Association of Theological Schools. The center is also accredited by the Commission on Institutions of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. In addition, AMBS has been approved by the University Senate of the United Methodist Church to provide training for United Methodist ministers. The Bible forms the core of the curriculum. AMBS provides additional emphases in mission and evangelism, practical skills of ministry including preaching and pastoral care, peace and justice, theology and ethics, church history, Christian spirituality, and Christian education. AMBS offers five graduate degrees and a certificate program. Two dual-degree programs are also offered together with Andrews University, Berrien Springs, Michigan. Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary provides excellent facilities for its students. The Seminary offers 45 apartments and two guesthouses. The Lambright Center has a large dining room and varying sizes of meeting rooms. The cornerstone of the campus is the chapel.
