Northwest Arkansas Community College (NWACC) is a two-year public college, operating under state control, and situated in Bentonville, Arkansas. Having opened its doors in August 1990, it earned accreditation from the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association in February 2000. NWACC has in excess of 5,000 college credit students, making it among the largest and fastest growing colleges in Arkansas. More than 7,000 other students are served by its non-credit courses throughout the college’s two-county service district. Among the degree programs offered are business administration and management, business computer programming, child care and guidance workers, criminal justice studies, environmental and pollution control technician, and management information systems and business data. NWACC is equipped with all necessary services to assist students. All classes are taught by expert teachers. The transfer courses are taught by instructors with a master's degree or higher. The college also provides rental facilities for events that augment its role in providing community enrichment.
