Anderson College is located at 316 Boulevard, in the northeastern part of Anderson, South Carolina. Founded in 1911, this private, liberal arts institute is accredited by Commission of Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Anderson College confers more than 50 academic programs in liberal arts and professional education in a distinctly Christian community. It offers graduate courses in Arts, Science, Music Education, Business Administration, and Human Services and Resources. Further, Internship, Honors Program, Art of Living session, Church Related Vocations Program, Teacher Education Program, International Programs, and research works form part of the curriculum. In addition, Anderson College runs a range of evening degree programs in Human Services and Resources, Criminal Justice, Business Administration and a BBA with a Concentration in Computer Information Systems. Spread over 68 acres, the Anderson College campus includes some of the best educational and residential facilities in South Carolina. The Abney Athletic Center and the Grubbs Memorial Tennis Courts are home to intercollegiate athletics at the college. The Student Center, in the heart of the campus, has a post office, canteen, game room, and business and registrar’s offices. Rainey Fine Arts, in the Fine Arts Division of Anderson College, is a performing art facility. It has three performance venues, seven art studios, and choral and instrumental rooms. Olin D. Johnston Memorial Library has an exceptional collection of resources, both in print and electronic format. The Career Service Office features a variety of services in the areas of career exploration, seminars, and job placement.
