Alpena Regional Medical Center, formerly Alpena General Hospital (AGH), is located at Alpena, Michigan. As a Regional Referral Center, the 146-bed acute care facility serves the healthcare needs of Northeastern Michigan - Alpena, Alcona, Montmorency, Iosco, Oscoda, and Presque Isle counties. Alpena Regional Medical Center’s Diabetic Center is the only quality program in northern Michigan and one among the seven in the United States to be recognized by the American Diabetes Association.
