Jacqueline Casey Hudgens Center for the Arts

The Jacqueline Casey Hudgens Center for the Arts is situated in Duluth, Georgia. Managed by a non-profit organization named the Gwinnett Council for the Arts, the 14,000-square-foot center has 4,000 square feet of gallery space, a large education department, and an additional 28,000 square feet comprising the Weeks Sculpture Garden.

The addition of the Children's Arts Museum provides an additional 20,000 square feet of galleries, classrooms, and performing space. The Children's Art Museum is designed specifically for the younger generation and their families. In the museum, children and their families can experience the excitement of arts.

The artworks in the museum are combined with innovative activities which enhance and reinforce the visual experience. The programs are led by experienced professional artists.

Exhibitions, concerts, and social events are constantly held in the Grand Hall. The Arts Safari in the Grand Hall has six colorful kiosks, each with its own animal sculpture.

The Children's Gallery has 140 running feet of gallery walls. Visitors can enjoy performing arts at the Black Box Theatre. Student artworks are displayed in the Johnnie A. Rowe Promenade Gallery. This exhibition space also displays artwork from area schools.
