Established in 1987, Maric College is situated in Bakersfield, California. The journey of Maric College started when Educational Medical, Inc. - a group of career colleges offering training in the field of health care - purchased three reputable Maric Colleges in Southern California. The name of Educational Medical, Inc. was changed to Quest Education Corporation, in 1998. Later, in 2002, its name was again changed to Kaplan Higher Education Corporation. Thus Maric College became a part of this wide network. The college offers education in Arts and Design, Business, Healthcare, Information Technology, and Legal fields.
